A major touchpoint theme in my novel is the replacement of Old Glory. To be fair, this lady backtracked big time in her follow-up response, but dang, the theme of flag replacement is gaining steam among the radicals.

Although not a news article, this is a well-written and well-documented essay whose theme links powerfully to a major tenet of my novel.
