William R. Douglas is an award-winning American novelist whose fiction explores American history, culture, political division, baseball, family, faith, and the traditions that connect generations.
His debut novel, The Death and Resurrection of Baseball: Echoes from a Distant Past, received recognition from Readers’ Favorite and the Independent Author Network.

Lynnwood councilwoman says American flag ‘unrelatable,’ wants Pride flag in its place

A councilwoman in the Washington State City of Lynwood creates an uproar over the American Flag.
A major touchpoint theme in my novel is the replacement of Old Glory.
To be fair, this lady backtracked big time in her follow-up response, but dang, the theme of flag replacement is gaining steam.
