IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE AND YOUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN FUTURE, YOU WILL READ THIS POST...
Whilst we were celebrating the 249th Birthday of the United States this past 4th of July weekend (tragically, I think we can use the term: 'These Divided States of America',) in Chicago in event was held called "Socialism 2025." The forum was held over July 3rd - 6th at The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in downtown Chicago. Conference topics clearly indicate that this collection of extreme leftists is HIDING under the banner of the term 'Democratic Socialism'. They are, as predicted in my novel: The Sum of All Our Anger: Civil War 2.0, not willing to use the 'C' word (Communist). Yet, clearly they are. On the forums website at: https://socialismconference.org/2025-schedule/ among the myriad of breakout sessions held were: * Marxism Education Series * The Proletariat Has No Homeland: Property and the Surplus Class * Art and Communism * Becoming Working Class Revolutionaries * The Struggle for Collective Liberation * Socialism and the Long March of the Left in Mexico This is just a smidgeon from the forum's own website. There is also a link listing 'Endorsing Organizations'. Included in this list of extremists is an organization called "SALVAGE". As a logo, they have switched out the letter G with the Hammer and Sickle. https://salvage.zone/about-2/ Meanwhile, in New York City, a communist is now the Democratic Mayoral Candidate for Mayor of that city. To their credit, mainline Patriotic Democrats are frantically trying to figure out how to derail this guy's candidacy. It remains to be seen how this all plays out. In my novel, a radical leftist from New York City becomes the President of the United States in the year 2061. He also hides under the term Democratic Socialist when he is, in fact, a full-blown Marxist Communist. His inauguration sets off a chain reaction that throws the nation into Civil War 2.0. This post is public and shareable. I encourage you to get my novel, read it, and spread its message before it's too late.

@USMC A great 5-star review is in from Author and Podcast Host of Online for AuthorsWith the election over and the Trump Administration continueing to implement an agenda that is pretty much the polar opposite of the Progressives Agenda of the Biden era, the backlash grows daily.
Part and parcel with it, the growing anger on the extreme left. No doubt a long list of names has been documented and when the time comes for retribution from the extreme left, it will be fierce. The question is not a matter of if, but a matter of when. It seems like the extremists on the left are doubling down on what they are pushing for, even though the main tenants, open borders and the trans issue, appears to have been the top two issues that cost them the Presidency. The issues proved too extreme for the Idependents and traditional old guard Democrats. Hence, the reason why so many jumped ship and became Independents or swallowed the Red Pill and became Republicans. The closing days of the last semester of college may see a pause in the revolt with the summer break. But, there is no doubt that the court battles, the rancor, name calling and everything will continue to smolder. Time will tell what happens in the Fall. Human Rights Campaign president Kelley Robinson urged people to "reimagine" freedom and democracy beyond the Founders' "little piece of paper" at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) last week.
Wow, she's calling the Constitution 'obsolete' and a "little piece of paper." That's stunning! In writing this novel, it was at times unnerving how many story elements would pop up in the news. It happened so frequently that I started keeping a folder. Later, after the manuscript was complete, I took the folder and used selected stories and put them in a clickable list (eBook) at the back of the book.
Since publication, the 'Life Imitates Art' stories continue to pop-up. New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd hit a nerve when she wrote an Opinion piece that stated that the removal of President Biden from the top of the Democratic Presidential ticket was a coup. The book touchpoint from her Opinion piece is the fact that Vice-President Kamala Harris was 'coronated' with zero feedback from the American Electorate OR the Biden Delegates elected to attend the Democratic National Convention in Chicago (which opened yesterday). What should have happened (in the spirit of the Constitution), is an open convention where nominations from the floor to replace Biden would have been allowed. Instead, ALL the votes for Biden were essentially tossed out. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/maureen-dowd-gets-hate-for-calling-biden-to-kamala-shift-a-coup/articleshow/112609976.cms Reviewed by Carol Thompson for Readers' Favorite
The Sum of All Our Anger by William R. Douglas plunges readers into the throes of a politically charged future America, where the nation teeters on the brink of another civil war. Set in 2061, this thriller imagines a country divided between the Old Way and the New Way, with each side fervently believing in the righteousness of its cause. The newly elected President Devin Cyrus has a vision to establish a Socialist utopia, regardless of the cost. On the other hand, Oklahoma Governor Mary Whitfield emerges as a stalwart defender of traditional American values, willing to lead her followers into secession if it means preserving the Old Way. The Sum of All Our Anger is particularly compelling because it humanizes the conflict through its characters. DeShawn King, the fiery founder of the 1619 Brigade, embodies the anger and desire for retribution that fuels the New Way. Yet, his father, Bishop Jackson King, represents the moderates caught in the crossfire, making the stakes feel personal and relatable. The storyline is so relatable to today as William R. Douglas doesn’t shy away from exploring the complexities of such a polarized nation at the end of the book. The concept of a utopian nation being exaggerated into a dystopian future is central to the storyline. For readers who enjoy thrillers with a heavy dose of political intrigue and moral dilemmas, The Sum of All Our Anger is a thought-provoking read that will leave you questioning the very fabric of modern society. I highly recommend this book. #fiction #fictionbooks #thrillerbooks #politicalthriller #militarythriller #dystopian I'm back and with my NEW Novel; The Sum of All Our Anger: Civil War 2.0!
